Texas Rural Fence, Inc. is a fence and gate contractor based in Onalaska, Texas, serving the Lake Livingston area of Polk and San Jacinto County since 2005. We're an S corporation, locally owned and operated — the same people who own the business are the ones building and standing behind the fences.
What we build
We build and repair fences and gates across every major category — wood, metal, and farm & ranch fencing, plus driveway, walk, ornamental, and security gates with opener installation. Beyond fencing, we also handle deck and pergola construction, pressure washing, staining, and gutter cleaning for the same customers we're already building fences for. Insured
Texas Rural Fence, Inc. is insured. Fence contracting doesn't require a state license in Texas, so we're upfront that "insured" is the credential that applies here, rather than claiming a license that doesn't exist for this trade.
How we work
Every project starts with a free, on-site estimate — we'd rather walk a property and understand what's actually needed than quote a price over the phone without seeing the site. From there, we build to the standards covered throughout this site: proper post depth and bracing, materials matched to the job (not just whatever's cheapest), and gates sized to their actual use rather than a one-size approach. We also stand behind repair work the same way we do new construction — a lot of our farm and ranch fence business in particular is repairing or extending fence lines other contractors originally built.
Real work, not stock photography
Every photo on this site is from an actual job we've done — fences we've built, gates we've hung, crews doing the work. We'd rather show real work, even if it's not always the most polished marketing photo, than use stock images that don't represent what a customer will actually get.
