Repairs and additions

What drives a commercial fence price

Height and gauge first: an eight-foot nine-gauge chain link perimeter is a different fence from a four-foot residential run. Then the gates, which on a commercial site are wide, heavy and often automated. Slats, windscreen and barbed wire topping add material and wind load, which adds posts. Site conditions do the rest: a flat gravel lot is quick, a sloped site in timber is not. We give you a line-item estimate so you can see exactly where the money is, and we will show you where a lighter spec would do the job if it would.

Codes, site plans and inspections

Many commercial sites come with a fence requirement written into a site plan, a city ordinance or a landlord's spec: a height, a material, a screened enclosure, a setback from the right-of-way. Bring us the requirement and we build to it, and we will tell you if a detail in it does not make sense for the ground. If an inspection is part of the project, we schedule around it.

Yes. We carry insurance that covers our work on commercial properties and can provide a certificate for your file before we start.

Can you work around our business hours?

Usually. Fence work is noisy and takes space, and we schedule around customers, deliveries and tenants where we can. Tell us the constraints on the estimate.
