We get asked about a wide range of projects — sometimes a single fence, sometimes a fence plus a gate plus a deck on the same property. These are different jobs with different demands, but they share more in common than people expect: careful planning, sound foundation work, and materials matched to the job. Fence construction
Fencing covers the widest range of what we build, from residential wood privacy fencing to metal fencing to farm and ranch perimeters. Each material category has its own installation logic — wood needs correct post spacing and board attachment to resist warping over time, metal fencing depends on consistent gauge and proper post setting, and farm and ranch styles like barbed wire or field fence depend on correct bracing to hold tension. Deck construction
A deck starts with the same foundational question as a fence — is the base solid enough to support what's built on top of it — but adds real structural load from foot traffic, furniture, and gatherings that a fence doesn't carry. Footings, framing, decking material, and railing all have to work together, and material choice (cedar, pressure-treated pine, or composite) affects both appearance and long-term maintenance. Gate installation
A gate has to do something a fixed section of fence doesn't: move, repeatedly, under its own weight, without sagging or binding. That makes post setting and hinge selection especially important — a gate post needs more reinforcement than a standard line post because it's carrying a swinging load in addition to whatever tension the rest of the fence puts on it. General construction
